If your child will be absent, please call the attendance line at 503-916-6121 or email Alameda Attendance and your child's teacher. Please state the reason for the absence, (illness, injury, appointment, etc). This needs to be done by 9:15 am or you will receive an autodialer call from the district.

Sick Policy
Along with PPS's daily self screening checklist, here is a quick and easy guideline provided by PPS and the Oregon Health Authority regarding symptoms related to illnesses. If you have questions, please call us at 503-916-6036

*Fever-free for 24 hours without taking fever-reducing medicine AND after a Covid-19 test is negative, OR 10 days if not tested |

*Symptom-free for 24 hours AND after a Covid-19 test is negative, OR 10 days if not tested. If diagnosed with pertussis (whooping cough), the student must take 5 days of prescribed antibiotics before returning. |

Brown, gray, tan or yellow drainage from nose, eyes or any other part of the body |
Discharge must be gone or student must have been on antibiotics for 24 hours and have written or phone consent from a medical doctor to school nurse |
